Hair Stylist Support Staff / Salon Assistant

Job Summary
We’re seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Support Staff member to assist our Hair Stylist(s) with daily salon operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment and is passionate about the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist hair stylists during services (shampooing, blow-drying, mixing color, prepping stations)
• Greet clients and ensure a welcoming salon experience
• Maintain cleanliness of styling stations, tools, and common areas
• Launder towels, capes, and linens
• Prepare clients for services and provide basic comfort needs
• Restock products and supplies

Qualifications

• Interest in hair and beauty
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy salon
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of hair care products and tools
• Willingness to learn salon techniques and procedures
