Job Summary

We are seeking a talented, creative, and professional Female Photographer with experience in maternity and newborn photography. The ideal candidate will be confident working with expectant mothers, newborn babies, children, and families while creating a comfortable, safe, and welcoming photography experience.

In addition to maternity and newborn sessions, the photographer will support general photography assignments, including family portraits, events, lifestyle shoots, product photography, and other creative projects as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct maternity, newborn, baby, family, and general photography sessions.
• Create a calm, comfortable, and professional environment for clients.
• Handle and position newborns safely during photography sessions.
• Guide clients on posing, styling, wardrobe, lighting, and session preparation.
• Set up and operate cameras, lighting equipment, backdrops, props, and studio accessories.
• Capture high-quality images that reflect the company’s creative standards and brand style.
• Select, edit, retouch, and deliver photographs within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with clients before and during sessions to understand their preferences and expectations.
• Maintain and organize photography equipment, studio spaces, props, and digital files.
• Assist with event, lifestyle, portrait, product, and social media photography when required.
• Maintain client privacy, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and administrative teams on photography projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably in maternity, newborn, baby, or family photography.
• A portfolio demonstrating photography and photo-editing skills.
• Excellent knowledge of camera equipment, lighting techniques, composition, and posing.
• Proficiency in photo-editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of newborn safety, hygiene, and appropriate posing techniques.
• Patient, gentle, and confident when working with newborns, children, and families.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during events when required.
• Videography and short-form social media content creation skills would be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional photography certification or relevant creative qualification.
• Previous experience working in a photography studio.
• Experience with maternity gowns, newborn props, themed setups, and studio styling.
• Basic knowledge of video shooting and editing.
