1. Customer Service & Front Desk Management:
- Greet all customers warmly and professionally as they enter the shop, creating a welcoming and luxurious first impression.
- Answer incoming calls promptly with a clear, friendly voice and a standard greeting (e.g., "Good morning, [Shop Name], how may I brighten your day?").
- Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media messages regarding products, prices, delivery, and services.
- Provide knowledgeable and enthusiastic information about the shop's floral arrangements, chocolate collections, and special offers.
2. Sales & Order Processing:
- Assist customers in selecting products and upselling where appropriate (e.g., suggesting matching chocolates for a bouquet).
- Process customer orders accurately, both in-person and over the phone, using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely and efficiently.
- Manage and update the order book for custom arrangements, weddings, and corporate events, ensuring all details are precise.
3. Administrative & Operational Support:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception and display area.
- Coordinate with the florists and chocolatiers in the back to communicate order details and timelines.
- Assist in managing inventory levels for front-office supplies (e.g., gift cards, packaging, stationery).
- Help with basic stock rotation for pre-packaged chocolate items and non-perishable goods at the front.
4. Brand Ambassadorship:
- Represent the shop's brand of luxury, quality, and elegance in all interactions.
- Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy, patience, and a focus on resolution, escalating to a manager when necessary.
- Uphold the highest standards of discretion, especially when handling orders for sensitive occasions.
