Job Title: Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Job Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading and managing a team of sales professionals, and achieving sales targets. This role involves setting sales goals, analyzing data, training and mentoring sales staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction to drive revenue growth and expand market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand customer base.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Set individual and team sales targets and objectives.
  • Forecast sales, develop "out of the box" sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and results-driven team environment.
  • Assign sales territories and set individual quotas.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics (e.g., sales volume, revenue, profitability, conversion rates).
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure the team uses CRM software effectively to track sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Understand customer needs and identify solutions to meet them.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • May handle key accounts or larger client relationships directly.
  • Product Knowledge & Market Expertise:
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of company products/services and their value proposition.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Educate the sales team on new products, services, and sales techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or relevant role (e.g., Senior Sales Executive, Account Manager).
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions: This role typically involves working in an office environment, but may require frequent travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, Some evening or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or attend events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
