Role & Responsibilities
This role is a combination of learning, researching, and doing. Part of the day you will spend observing and documenting best practices, and the rest you will actively support teaching sessions, therapy programs, and interventions for children.
Specific Tasks Include:

  • Assist in planning and delivering special education sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Support classroom activities and individualized learning interventions under the guidance of senior special educators.
  • Research and document latest tools, strategies, and best practices in special education and autism support.
  • Read and summarize different approaches suggested by experts, doctors, and educators.
  • Attend in-person and online workshops, seminars, and training sessions, and document key learnings.
  • Help track student progress and maintain records for review.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • You are currently pursuing or have completed a degree/diploma in Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields.
  • You have at least internship/volunteer experience in working with children with autism or other special needs (preferred but not mandatory).
  • You are open and willing to work with children aged 3 to 18 years (and occasionally adults).
  • You have a passion for inclusive education, patience, and deep empathy for students and their families.
  • You are eager to learn and experiment with new methods of teaching and intervention.
