Fence installation laborer

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation of fences using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to ensure precise placement and secure anchoring
  • Measure and mark fence lines accurately, following project specifications and safety guidelines
  • Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up frames, and performing concrete forming or finishing as needed for posts or support structures

Requirements

  • Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or masonry is highly preferred; familiarity with frame carpentry and concrete forming is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle various hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
  • Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of landscape maintenance or hardscape projects is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction, masonry, and heavy equipment operation
  • Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques and completing projects efficiently
