Duties
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of fence panels, posts, gates, and related components using hand tools and power tools
- Cut materials accurately according to specifications using saws, drills, and other equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials such as wood, metal, concrete products, and organizing materials and supplies
- Support installation crews by preparing materials specific to each job
- Operate heavy machinery or equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Dispose of waste materials and scrap appropriately
- Perform routine maintenance on shop equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Assist with inventory checks and material stocking
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of fabrication and installation work
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or carpentry is desirable
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with welding techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools required for assembly and fabrication
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Driver's License preferred.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday (7:00 am-4:00 pm)
