Job Title: Fermenter & Utility Operator – Biofertilizer & Biopesticide Manufacturing

Department: Production No of Position: 1 Location: Reengus, Jaipur.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Fermenter Operations

•

Operate fermenters (seed fermenters & production fermenters) for mass multiplication of biofertilizer and biopesticide production

•

Prepare and sterilize fermentation media as per SOPs.

•

Monitor critical parameters including pH, temperature, agitation, aeration, foam level, and DO during fermentation.

•

Perform inoculation, fermentation, harvesting, and cleaning cycles.

•

Conduct CIP & SIP procedures for fermenters, pipelines, and accessories.

•

Identify deviations and take corrective actions during fermentation batches.

2.

Utility Operations

•

Operate and maintain utilities such as boilers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, RO water systems and fermenters

•

Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, compressed air, chilled water, and purified water for production operations.

•

Monitor utility parameters, log readings, and report abnormalities.

•

Coordinate preventive maintenance and minor breakdown repairs.

3.

Quality & Compliance

•

Maintain batch manufacturing records, utility logbooks, and equipment operation records.

•

Support quality checks during fermentation and downstream processes.

4.

Skills Required

•

Basic troubleshooting of fermenters and utility equipment.

•

Familiarity with SOPs, batch documentation, and regulatory compliance.

•

Ability to work in shifts and under production deadlines.

•

Experience with PLC/SCADA-controlled fermenters.

•

Knowledge of broth stabilization and downstream processing.

Qualifications

Education: ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in fermenter and utility operations in a biofertilizer / biopesticide / fermentation-based industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
