Festival Administrative Assistant for Church Relations

Are you ready to use your talents to bring the Good News to Southwest Florida? Palau is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as we work to encourage local churches through prayer, service, and evangelism for the upcoming BLESS SWFL initiatives. This role is more than just administrative work; it is the organizational backbone of our team.


Your Role

As a Festival Administrative Assistant, you support and assist the festival team primarily in the area of church relations as well as assigned teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact by answering routine phone calls and assisting office visitors with questions or requests.
  • Partner with festival teams—such as Family Fun Zone, Prayer, and Festival Friend/Follow-Up—to coordinate meeting logistics, draft agendas, and record minutes and help to implement team action items.
  • Perform general clerical tasks including photocopying, printing, assembling resource packets, and scheduling large-scale mailings. Complete data entry to track event progress.
  • Attend and support local meetings and events, managing set-up, volunteer coordination, and festival information tables. This will require some evening hours.
  • Perform other duties as applicable to the position as requested.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • A committed Christian who is in full agreement with the Palau Statement of Faith. Available at www.palau.org/who-we-are.
  • Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly, and flexible attitude.


Compensation

  • Pay: $20.00 per hour, paid twice monthly.
  • Benefits: Sick and vacation time are provided in accordance with Federal and State of Florida law.
