Employment Status: Non-exempt, regular, part-time (.50)
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: March 22nd-April 18th (20hrs a week/80 hours), April 19th - April 26th (40hrs a week/40 hours)
Summary: The Festival Associate supports year-round and seasonal staff to present the non-profit 25th annual Ashland Independent Film Festival, which takes place April 23-26th, 2026. Primary duties encompass general office support, with additional tasks in the areas of box office, customer service, event logistics, and general support.

This is a temporary position with work largely performed in a traditional office environment, at the AIFF Ashland office. As an events-driven organization, the AIFF work schedule varies depending upon the activities of the season and day. Weekend and evening events will occur, and the Festival Associate will be expected to attend. This work expects an increase in activity around the annual film festival. The candidate may use office equipment, keyboards, and phones and may involve lifting/ carrying of packages and walking short distances. They must have reliable transportation to get to work and sign the AIFF transportation agreement to use their vehicle for events or other obligations. Mileage will be reimbursed.
