Festival / Events Director

About the Role:
Kuwait City is rapidly emerging as a regional hub for live entertainment, and at Rolland Blues Festival Productions, we bring that energy to life through world-class festivals, concerts, and cultural events. We don’t just produce events—we create large-scale experiences that combine music, storytelling, and production excellence.

We are looking for a Festival & Events Director (m/f/d) who can take full ownership of our live entertainment portfolio. You are not just managing events—you are shaping the creative vision, production standards, and operational execution of high-profile festivals across Kuwait and the wider region. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate international artists, and ensure every event delivers a premium audience experience from concept to final encore.

You are the driving force between creative ambition, technical execution, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Festival Leadership:
Own the end-to-end planning and execution of music festivals, live concerts, and cultural events, from concept development to post-event analysis.

Creative Direction:
Develop event themes, programming concepts, and audience experience strategies aligned with brand vision and market demand.

Production Management:
Oversee staging, lighting, sound, visual production, and technical execution teams to ensure seamless live delivery.

Artist & Talent Management:
Coordinate with local and international artists, booking agents, and hospitality teams to ensure smooth performance execution.

Budget & Operations Control:
Manage large-scale event budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation with full financial accountability.

Stakeholder & Partner Relations:
Engage with sponsors, government entities, and private partners to secure approvals, funding, and strategic collaborations.

On-Ground Execution:
Lead live event operations, troubleshoot in real-time, and ensure safety, timing, and production quality standards are met.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:
8–15+ years in festival production, live events, or entertainment operations, with proven experience leading large-scale events or concert productions.

Track Record:
Demonstrated success in delivering multi-stage events, music festivals, or international entertainment productions.

Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of stage production, lighting, sound engineering, and live event logistics.

Leadership Skills:
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including production crews, vendors, and creative professionals.

Industry Network:
Established relationships within the entertainment, events, or live production industry is highly valued.

Mindset:
You are decisive, calm under pressure, and capable of balancing creative ambition with operational execution. You know how to scale events from concept to reality without compromising quality.

Pay: KD2,000.000 - KD32,000.000 per month
