ob Title: FetalLink Analyst – OB & NICU Systems

Role Overview

The FetalLink Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing obstetrics (OB) workflows, fetal monitoring systems, and NICU integrations within the FetalLink platform. This role ensures accurate real-time fetal monitoring, seamless data integration with the EHR, and effective clinical documentation across Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environments.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in OB clinical workflows, electronic fetal monitoring systems, and neonatal data management.

Key Responsibilities

OB Workflow Management

  • Support and optimize Labor & Delivery workflows including:
  • Patient admission and triage
  • Intrapartum documentation
  • Delivery documentation
  • Postpartum charting
  • Configure OB-specific documentation templates and clinical forms.
  • Support provider and nursing workflows for labor progression tracking.
  • Ensure accurate integration of fetal monitoring data into patient records.

Fetal Monitoring & Real-Time Data Integration

  • Configure and support electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) systems.
  • Validate real-time transmission of:
  • Fetal heart rate (FHR)
  • Uterine contractions
  • Maternal vital signs
  • Troubleshoot device connectivity and waveform capture issues.
  • Support central monitoring stations and remote viewing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with biomedical teams for device troubleshooting and maintenance.

NICU Workflow Support

  • Support newborn admission and NICU documentation workflows.
  • Ensure seamless data transition from L&D to NICU systems.
  • Configure neonatal assessments, growth charts, and clinical documentation templates.
  • Support integration with neonatal monitoring systems and bedside devices.

System Configuration & Optimization

  • Maintain clinical build including:
  • OB documentation templates
  • Alert thresholds
  • Monitoring parameters
  • Order sets and protocols
  • Support testing and validation during upgrades and new implementations.
  • Optimize workflows to reduce manual documentation and improve patient safety.

Production Support & Incident Management

  • Provide Level 2/3 application support for OB and NICU systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis for monitoring discrepancies or data gaps.
  • Participate in on-call support for critical care and labor units.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and minimal downtime for mission-critical systems.

Compliance & Patient Safety

  • Ensure documentation meets regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives related to maternal and neonatal outcomes.
  • Maintain audit readiness and system validation documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience supporting OB or fetal monitoring systems.
  • Strong understanding of Labor & Delivery and NICU workflows.
  • Experience with real-time monitoring and clinical documentation systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot medical device integration issues.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical background in OB nursing or NICU (preferred).
  • Experience integrating fetal monitoring with enterprise EHR systems.
  • Familiarity with central monitoring architecture and biomedical systems.
  • Experience in multi-hospital or high-acuity environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹239,281.03 - ₹982,224.09 per year
