Overview:
We are hiring a detail-oriented F&I Coordinator to join our dealership team. This is a non-customer-facing, back-end position focused on documentation, lender coordination, and internal workflow management. If you have at least 1 year of experience in automotive finance, sales support, or title/registration processing, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare/validate contract packages including RISC, lease agreements, and backend vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with sales team daily transactions
- Recap end of day of what paperwork is pending for purchases and sales
- Process and submit credit applications through approved lender platforms
- Accurately enter deal terms, backend products, and DMV fees into the DMS
- Submit eContracts and manage funding stipulations
- Work closely with the DMV clerk to ensure proper deal handoff and title/registration documentation
- Keep track of costs related to each vehicle
- Assemble complete, compliant deal jackets and submit for contract review
- Scan all paperwork related to deal jackets
- Track deals in funding and resolve documentation issues to avoid rejections or delays
- Collaborate with Sales, DMV, and Accounting departments to maintain compliance and efficiency
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a dealership F&I office, accounting office, DMV/title clerk role, or similar automotive back-end position
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow compliance checklists
- Familiarity with DMS systems and lender platforms
- Ability to manage high volumes of paperwork and multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Professional, organized, and reliable — with strong follow-through
Preferred
- Knowledge of California DMV documentation (REG 262, REG 343, REG 397, etc.)
- Experience submitting through BPA systems/ using DMS systems.
