Our work environment job duties include:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and relate well with co-workers.
  • General knowledge of construction practices.
  • Familiar in all aspects of aerial cable construction, including but not limited to

Print/Elevation understanding, bucket truck, digger truck. ladder, pole climbing operation, strand, coax, fiber, lashing, framing, transfer, finishing and maintenance.

  • Knowledge of tools and materials used for maintenance and construction of lines.
  • Be able to be professional to customers while respecting their property.
  • Follow company policies.
  • Be well versed in field prints, determine best way for work to be performed as well as determine foreseeable issues
  • Ensure all installation work is complete as quickly as possible with utmost safety.
  • Perform construction work such as placing strand and fiber, and anchors

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Be able to climb poles/work and or use bucket truck to place cables on poles per design.
  • Experience operating a mini excavator safely.
  • Ability to properly lift up to 75-80 pounds safely.
  • Ability to work at heights of 20+ feet.
  • Work under any type of weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel for projects. Hotels are paid for
  • Work weekends if necessary.

License/Certification/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience of Aerial Lineman, telecommunication and pole climbing experience preferred.
  • High school or GED certificate preferred.
  • Possess or have the ability to get a DOT medical card.
  • Class A CDL Preferred

Work is in south eastern Ohio and WV

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
