Fiber Splicers & Installers

Overview:
We are currently hiring 1099 Contractors for Fiber Splicer and Fiber Installer positions. Ideal candidates should have experience in low-voltage systems, telecommunications, and network installations.

Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, and maintain fiber optic systems
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber connections
• Perform terminations and testing of fiber networks
• Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and connection standards

Requirements:

• Must have a reliable work truck (white preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior experience as a Fiber Technician or in a related field (Training available to meet Tex-Star standards)
• Proficient with fiber optic tools and hand tools
• Understanding of low-voltage and telecom systems
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $600.00 - $2,500.00 per week
