Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install insulation materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute insulation layouts.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, or applying other preparatory treatments to ensure optimal insulation adhesion.
• Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, masons, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation activities on-site.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and adapt plans as needed for complex projects.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and properly handling tools such as airless paint sprayers or masonry equipment.
• Assist in the fabrication of custom insulation components or trim carpentry elements to fit unique project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site work with familiarity in insulation installation practices.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
• Knowledge of related trades such as plastering, roofing, framing carpentry, stucco application, metal stud framing, concrete finishing, masonry, or HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of fabrication processes and construction techniques.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting on-site challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members across various trades. Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour
