Fiberglass Laminator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fiberglass Laminator to join our production team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for laying up, laminating, and curing fiberglass and composite materials to create durable parts and products used in marine industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare boat surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.

- Cut and lay fiberglass fabrics according to specified measurements and patterns.

- Mix and apply resins, gel coats, and other materials to ensure proper bonding and finish.

- Follow technical drawings and work instructions for accurate repairs.

- Use hand and power tools safely to shape, cut, and finish fiberglass components.

- Inspect finished work for quality, smoothness, and adherence to safety standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals and materials.

- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a fiberglass laminator, preferably in boat repair or maintenance.

- Knowledge of different fiberglass materials, resins, and gel coats.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.

- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

- Good physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces.

- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to fiberglass work.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with boat hull repairs and refinishing.

- Knowledge of gel coat application techniques.

- Familiarity with safety equipment and environmental regulations.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
