Fibre Glass Technician - Marine Maintenance

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Fibre Glass Technician to join our Marine Maintenance team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and restoring fibre glass components on yachts and marine vessels. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in fibre glass repair, finishing, and marine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Repair and maintain fibre glass structures on yachts and marine vessels

2. Perform lamination, moulding, sanding, polishing, and finishing work

3. Inspect damaged fibre glass surfaces and determine repair requirements

4. Carry out gel coat repairs and surface finishing

5. Prepare materials, tools, and work areas for repair and maintenance jobs

6. Ensure all work is completed following safety and quality standards

7. Assist maintenance team with related technical tasks when required

Requirements

1. Previous experience as a Fibre Glass Technician (Marine industry preferred)

2. Knowledge of fibre glass repair techniques and materials

3. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment

4. Basic understanding of marine maintenance standards

5. Physically fit and able to work in a marine environment

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
