Quandel Construction Group is currently searching for a Field Engineer for a project located in Harrisburg, PA. This is an entry-level position where individuals can work with our field and operations team.

Summary
The Field Engineer will be assigned to a specific jobsite where they will work with the Project Superintendent and other on-site project team. Their primary responsibilities involve supporting daily documentation and communication tasks essential for Quandel project site. While on-site, the Field Engineer may also participate in project management duties, such as reviewing submittals and aiding in the coordination of necessary information from subcontractors and team members.
What You Will Do
As a member of the field staff, the Field Engineer will be trained in project safety requirements and how to perform Daily Safety checklists. Additionally, they will contribute to the orientation of subcontractor workers and the collection of essential subcontractor-specific documents, certifications, and more. Another key role will be to learn and assist the site team in executing Quandel's Quality Control program. The overall objective is to spend substantial time on-site, gaining a deep understanding of the construction process, project speed, complexity, and the critical nature of coordination and documentation. The most effective way to learn is through active participation. This firsthand experience will be invaluable for advancing in various career paths. With this solid foundation established through practical experience, the Field Engineer is well-positioned for career progression in roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, or positions related to Estimating.
