Field Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Field Engineer to support the deployment, commissioning, and maintenance of Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems in warehouse environments. This role involves onsite installation, troubleshooting, and technical support of automation equipment and related control systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform onsite installation, testing, and commissioning of AGV systems and supporting equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues in warehouse environments.
• Provide field support for AGV operations, including diagnostics and system recovery.
• Modify system configurations or scripts based on technical instructions.
• Assist with AGV software setup, parameter tuning, and system updates.
• Perform low-voltage installation including equipment mounting, wiring, network cabling, and cable management.
• Support integration between AGV systems, servers, and warehouse networks.
• Work closely with engineering teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct routine inspection, maintenance, and performance verification.
• Maintain service reports and technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong hands-on ability with electrical or automation equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and control systems.
• Familiarity with basic programming or scripting (such as Python, C/C++, or similar).
• Ability to follow technical instructions to adjust configurations or modify code when required.
• Experience working with automation equipment, robotics, or warehouse systems preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in warehouse or industrial environments.
• Willingness to travel for project deployment and field support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
