Duties

• Assist with lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain pristine turf and grass areas
• Perform landscape maintenance including planting, mulching, pruning, and weed control to enhance garden aesthetics
• Operate hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes efficiently and safely for various landscaping projects
• Use power tools and equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and small excavators to complete site preparations and enhancements
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
• Contribute to hardscape projects by preparing surfaces for paving or stonework and assisting with construction tasks

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and tools
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators safely and effectively
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care practices, and snow plowing techniques is a plus
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards outdoor physical work
• Prior experience in construction or hardscape projects is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
