Field Marketing Manager

Design Windows, a trusted name in premium window and door solutions, is seeking a full-time Event Marketing Manager to lead our face-to-face lead generation efforts across Southern California.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to build and lead an exciting department, drive measurable growth, and make a real impact. In this role, you will coordinate and execute Design Windows’ participation in home shows, community events, fairs, and retail activations across our territory, connecting directly with homeowners and generating qualified appointments on the spot.

This is a dynamic, field-based leadership role that requires weekend availability every week, a reliable vehicle, and the flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to recruit, train, and support a part-time event team.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage Design Windows’ presence at local and regional events, including home shows, fairs, community events, and future retail setups.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of part-time appointment setters to engage homeowners and generate high-quality appointments.
  • Set weekly lead and performance goals, coach team members, and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Provide on-site leadership every weekend to ensure strong execution, professionalism, and results in the field.
  • Collaborate closely with company leadership and the sales manager on performance, appointment quality, and departmental results.
  • Track departmental performance, cost of marketing, inventory needs, event logistics, and weekly reporting.
  • Help manage event displays, booth materials, signage, and inventory for field execution.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and maintain strong communication with the office team while operating with a high level of ownership and accountability.

Territory:

This role supports a large Southern California territory and requires comfort with regular travel throughout the region. The territory includes portions of:

  • Los Angeles County
  • Orange County
  • The Inland Empire
  • San Bernardino County
  • The High Desert
  • The Coachella Valley / Palm Springs area

The territory spans from the Long Beach / Orange County coastline, through Anaheim, Irvine, Riverside, Corona, San Bernardino, and Temecula, and extends east toward Palm Springs, Indio, Joshua Tree, and Twentynine Palms, with northern reach into the Hesperia / Apple Valley area. Candidates should be comfortable driving throughout this service area and managing events across a broad territory.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership, team management, or field management experience.
  • Strong communication, recruiting, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Mandatory weekend availability year-round.
  • Comfortable working a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a leadership team.
  • Comfortable being in-office regularly for meetings, collaboration, and integration with the team culture, while also managing a field-heavy schedule.
  • Experience in event marketing, direct sales, canvassing, retail marketing, or home improvement marketing is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing performance metrics, accountability systems, or budgets is highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary starting around $65,000 annually
  • Performance-based bonus structure tied to department results and profitability
