Field Mechanic - Heavy Equipment

Gabbert & Edwards Construction is a growing established family-owned business located here in the Treasure Valley. We specialize in mass excavation, under ground wet utilities, grading and site work. We are looking for multiple team members with strong backgrounds in mass excavation working with scrapers and dozers, fine grading for asphalt and concrete prep in subdivision, road building and commercial site earthworks. Gabbert and Edwards Construction is hiring for field mechanic. Responsibility's include preventative maintenance and repairs of light/heavy and support equipment in the field. Travel to various job sites to make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, scrapers, haul trucks and more. Applicants should have experience with heavy equipment repair so they can determine what parts and tools are necessary for repairs. Applicants must be able to use a laptop to run diagnostic tests and enter job information, and need a valid CDL license to travel to job sites.

Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance, operation and troubleshooting
• CDL and a clean driving record.

• Tools required for the job

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
