Field Operations Associate

Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to assist with various on-site tasks in support of Project Managers (PMs). This role will involve shadowing PMs during orientation walkthroughs, maintaining the cleanliness of our developments, and ensuring all necessary tasks and repairs are completed on time, including light carpentry and finish work such as installing base shoe, door stops, and door hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and hands-on trade aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subcontractor Interaction: Shadow PMs as they communicate with subcontractors on-site. Help facilitate conversations and provide support where needed.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Communication: Work with subcontractors and material providers to request extra materials or address missing items for specific jobs on-site.
• Warranty Repairs: Assist with warranty-related repairs and ensure timely completion of any necessary fixes.
• PM Support & Shadowing: Assist and shadow PMs during orientation walkthroughs and final inspections. Gain insight into project management processes and development oversight.
• Site Inspections: Walk houses in various stages of development to identify any issues missed by PMs, such as incomplete installations or minor errors (e.g., missing master knobs, broken siding, missing trim, etc).
• Manual Labor: Skilled in the ability to install base shoe, door stops, and door hardware.
• Site Cleanliness & Maintenance: Walk developments regularly to identify and clean up any trash or debris on streets and lots. Ensure that all common areas are tidy and well-maintained.
• BMP Maintenance: Inspect and perform repairs or replacements of Best Management Practices (BMPs) to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Landscape & Cleanliness Oversight: Drive through developments to check for areas where weeds need to be addressed or other clean-up tasks are required.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with construction sites and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with PMs, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ability to multitask and manage a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between developments.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in construction or project management.
• Familiarity with common construction terminology and processes.
• Ability to use basic hand tools for minor repairs or installations

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
