Overview

We are launching a New Jersey–based field marketing pilot focused on setting calendar-ready appointments for solar R&R, reroofs, and solar service work. This role is hands-on, in the field, and execution-driven.

This is not a digital marketing role.
This is not a sales closing role.
This is not an ad buying or content role.

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for training, managing, and holding field representatives accountable to strict weekly performance metrics. This role reports directly to ownership and operates in a numbers-first, no-excuses environment.

Responsibilities

  • Train and manage 1–3 field marketing representatives
  • Enforce daily schedules and field coverage
  • Ensure all appointments meet qualification standards
  • Hold reps accountable to weekly appointment targets
  • Monitor show rates and appointment quality
  • Immediately correct underperformance or replace reps when thresholds are missed
  • Personally train reps in the field as needed
  • Submit daily and weekly performance reports
  • Maintain strict adherence to process, data accuracy, and compliance
  • Scale the team only once performance benchmarks are consistently met

Performance Expectations (Non-Negotiable)

  • Weekly appointment targets must be met
  • Reps setting 8 or fewer appointments per week for two consecutive weeks are terminated
  • Reps with 3+ no-shows for two consecutive weeks are terminated
  • Quality and show rate matter as much as volume
  • This is a metrics-driven environment — performance is visible and tracked weekly

Compensation

  • $700/week guaranteed base
  • $10 override per appointment set by the team
  • Weekly pay
  • Performance-based advancement as the program scales

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in door-to-door, canvassing, field marketing, or field management
  • Comfortable enforcing standards and accountability
  • Strong leadership presence in the field
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
  • Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet daily
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • No sales closing required — appointment setting only

Schedule

  • Full-time, in-person
  • Tuesday–Saturday
  • Field-based across New Jersey
  • Some flexibility based on weather and daylight
