Field Operator Oil Movement

PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Field Operator Oil Movement .

Qualifications and Competencies:

• DAE or B.Tech. in Chemical Discipline from a recognized institution.
• Good knowledge of SAP, TGS (Tank Gauging System) and MS Office.
• Sound technical understanding of pumps, turbines, compressors, fire & safety systems, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Experience:

• Up to 12 years of relevant experience as “Plant Operator Oil Movement & Tank Farm” in Petroleum Refinery/ OMCs/ OECs.
• Hands-on operational experience in Tank Farm operations, Pipeline systems, and Petroleum Products Blending.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and smooth operation of Tank Farm, Pipeline, and Blending facilities in accordance with approved SOPs.
• Coordinate during plant emergencies and promptly report any abnormal conditions to the Shift Engineer.
• Liaise with DCS Controllers and perform field activities including tank dipping, switchovers for rundown, blending (Mogas & Jet Fuels), pipeline receipt, and product dispatch to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
• Maintain assigned equipment and systems in optimal operating condition within specified parameters.
• Strictly comply with the Permit to Work (PTW) system and all safety requirements.
• Ensure safe handover of equipment for maintenance and assist in proper re-commissioning.
• Execute daily operational tasks, including safe start-up and shutdown of plant units as per SOPs.
• Actively participate in emergency handling and safety initiatives.
