Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing efforts within assigned territories
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits aligned with their business objectives
  • Manage and nurture existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, identifying upselling opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, update account information, and analyze territory performance for continuous improvement
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to close deals effectively while maintaining profitability
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility and lead generation efforts
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities to position solutions effectively in the B2B (business-to-business) landscape

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account management responsibilities efficiently
  • Expertise in business development strategies including lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales approaches
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for sales tracking and analysis
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with customer service acumen to foster long-term client relationships
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demos and conduct technical sales presentations confidently
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data for strategic decision-making in territory sales
  • Effective communication skills for inside sales interactions as well as face-to-face engagements in retail or field environments
  • Knowledge of marketing principles relevant to retail sales and technology markets; experience in upselling techniques is a plus
