Field Sales Electrician

Job Overview

Premier Power Electric is seeking a motivated and skilled Field Sales Electrician to join our team. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys working independently, takes pride in customer satisfaction, and is confident in quoting and executing their own jobs. Technicians are dispatched to pre-scheduled appointments at residential and commercial locations.

Duties

• Travel to customer homes and businesses to perform on-site electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs with pre-set company provided appointments.
• Estimate and price electrical work on the spot, including providing clear explanations and recommendations to customers.
• Build rapport and establish trust with customers through clear communication and professional service.
• Perform electrical upgrades and installations including:
• Main panel upgrades
• Subpanel modifications
• Rewiring and load balancing
• Circuit additions and dedicated lines
• Ensure all work meets NEC standards and local code requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of services, materials used, and customer communications.
• Communicate with office staff regarding scheduling, job updates, and follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and PPE protocols.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a residential/commercial electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and code compliance.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workflow.
• Experience with estimating and quoting jobs in the field is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Own hand tools and appropriate work attire (specialty tools and PPE provided as needed).

Pay: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
