Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive sales and expand our market presence in the agricultural equipment domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new customer relationships, promoting our products, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of agricultural practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping farmers succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers, including farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and dealers.
- Conduct field visits to demonstrate and promote our range of agricultural equipment.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate sales contracts and close deals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding product selection and usage.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the product development team.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
- Provide regular updates to the sales manager on sales activities and performance.
- Contribute to marketing activities, such as agricultural shows and exhibitions.
Technical Knowledge:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's agricultural equipment and their applications.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in agricultural technology and practices.
- Be able to explain technical specifications and benefits of equipment to potential customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural equipment domain.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices and farming operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Zohobooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of local language and customs.
