Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.

Lead Generation: Actively identify and develop new client accounts; manage the end-to-end process of finalizing and closing deals.

Quotation Management: Prepare accurate, competitive quotations by calculating rates based on broker/supplier inputs, margins, and cost of funds.

Negotiation: Expertly negotiate terms and pricing with both clients and suppliers to ensure win-win outcomes.

2. Operations & Supply Chain Coordination

Procurement: Monitor purchases to ensure the lowest rates, best credit terms, and highest quality.

Logistics Oversight: Coordinate with the supplier team to check material availability and manage delivery planning, transport arrangements, and associated costs.

Timely Delivery: Ensure all materials are delivered on time, meeting the specific quality requirements of the client.

3. Financial Management & Recovery

Billing: Monitor the timely dispatch of sales bills with all necessary supporting documents.

Payment Recovery: Manage daily payment recoveries and follow up on Debit Notes for any payment delays.

Internal Compliance: Handle disputes related to sales/purchases on priority and submit internal memos for genuine payment deductions.

4. Relationship & Data Management

Market Intelligence: Stay updated on daily market trends to provide competitive offers.

CRM Maintenance: Manage comprehensive client databases (nature of business, site details, and key decision-makers).

Stakeholder Relations: Maintain robust, long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, and transport partners.

5. Leadership & Reporting

Mentorship: Provide training and monitor the daily activities of junior team members.

MIS Reporting: Update and submit required MIS reports to senior management.

Performance Review: Participate in quarterly assessments conducted by the Business Head.

Requirements
Candidate Profile

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development (Building Materials experience is a plus, but not mandatory).

Skills: Strong calculation and analytical skills, excellent negotiation, and effective communication.

Attitude: Result-oriented, proactive in dispute resolution, and capable of working in a fast-paced field environment.

Education: Graduate in any stream.
