Mediex Health is a growing behavioral health medical group based in Dartmouth, MA, dedicated to improving access to high-quality mental health care for patients and families in the community. We partner with primary care and specialty practices to make behavioral health services easier to refer to and easier for patients to access.
We are looking for a motivated Field Sales Representative to go door-to-door to medical practices in the Dartmouth area, introduce Mediex Health’s services, and build strong referral relationships. This role is primarily “boots on the ground” — visiting practices in person, prospecting through multiple channels, and managing a local territory to drive steady referral growth.
What you’ll do
- Visit primary care, specialty, and behavioral health practices in person within your assigned territory each day.
- Introduce Mediex Health’s behavioral health services, explain referral workflows, and answer questions from physicians, practice managers, and staff.
- Prospect using multiple channels (in-person visits, phone, email, LinkedIn) to build a consistent pipeline of new referring practices.
- Schedule and conduct brief in-practice meetings or presentations for clinical and front-desk teams.
- Follow up regularly with interested practices to strengthen relationships and increase referral volume.
- Distribute marketing materials and patient education handouts during visits.
- Document all outreach activity, contacts, and next steps in the CRM or tracking tools provided.
- Develop and follow a weekly/monthly territory plan with clear visit and activity goals.
- Share market feedback and competitor information with leadership to help refine messaging and offerings.
- Provide simple reports on activity, pipeline status, and territory performance.
Territory management
- Manage a defined geographic territory centered on Dartmouth, MA and surrounding communities.
- Map and prioritize target practices based on specialty, patient volume, and strategic fit.
- Plan efficient daily routes to maximize high-quality in-person visits and minimize travel time.
- Track visit frequency and engagement level to ensure appropriate coverage of key practices.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in field sales, outside sales, medical sales, physician liaison, or healthcare outreach preferred.
- Comfortable with high-activity, door-to-door prospecting and cold outreach to medical practices.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; able to build rapport quickly with physicians and office staff.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of healthcare services and referral workflows; behavioral health experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video tools (Zoom, Google Meet).
- Experience using a CRM or sales tracking tool to manage prospects and follow-ups preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel daily within the territory.

Compensation and benefits
- Competitive base pay, commensurate with experience; performance-based incentives or bonuses may be available.
- Eligibility for company benefits for employees averaging at least 30 hours per week.
- Training on Mediex Health services, referral workflows, and territory strategy.
Schedule
- Daytime, weekday hours with daily field travel to practices (some flexibility based on practice availability).
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
