Department: Production and After Sales and Service
- Reviewing and trouble-shooting articulation and gangway systems for the Road and Rail industry.
- Reviewing drawings and schematics for troubleshooting both in manufacturing facility and in the field.
- Interfacing with designers and engineers on refurbishment projects.
- Providing customer service and support related to any technical inquiries.
- Using the computer to formulate/ transmit messages and reports.
- Traveling to customer sites to service, train, and promote our products.
- Write and distribute site reports from customer visits and refurbishments.
- Participating in the research and development of new products.
- Ability to assist and contribute to production floor when not traveling for After Sales and Service needs.
- Fulfilling other duties as determined by skill level and corporate need.
Educational Level for Position: Technical degree or equivalent.
Travel:
- Travel for this position is expected to be between 40-60%.
Special Skills/Qualifications Needed:
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
- Fabrication skills (metal fabrication, welding, etc.)
- Proficient in using basic pneumatic, manual, and battery-operated hand tools.
- Ability to use voltmeter for trouble shooting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities.
- Ability to communicate professionally, with maturity and self confidence.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other manufacturing specific software.
- Familiar with company policies, procedures and instructions.
