Field Service Engineer – Cylinders & Heat Pump Systems

Our national client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing service team, supporting customers and installers across Crawley.

This is a hands-on role involving commissioning, servicing, fault diagnosis, repair, and technical support on unvented hot water cylinders, thermal stores, and heat pump cylinders. You will play a key role in maintaining the client’s reputation for quality and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, commissioning, and repair work

• Diagnose and resolve faults on hot water cylinders, heat pump cylinders, and associated systems

• Support installers and customers with technical advice both on-site and remotely

• Complete all work safely and in line with company procedures and industry standards

• Accurately complete service reports and documentation

• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times

• Work independently while effectively managing your workload and diary

• Support product improvement feedback by reporting recurring issues and technical findings

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience within plumbing & heating or field service engineering

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Experience working on unvented hot water systems and heating systems

• Good understanding of domestic plumbing and heating controls

• Unvented Hot Water qualification preferred (training can be provided)

• Heat pump experience beneficial but not essential

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and use initiative

• Full UK driving licence
