Our national client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing service team, supporting customers and installers across Crawley.
This is a hands-on role involving commissioning, servicing, fault diagnosis, repair, and technical support on unvented hot water cylinders, thermal stores, and heat pump cylinders. You will play a key role in maintaining the client’s reputation for quality and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, commissioning, and repair work
- Diagnose and resolve faults on hot water cylinders, heat pump cylinders, and associated systems
- Support installers and customers with technical advice both on-site and remotely
- Complete all work safely and in line with company procedures and industry standards
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times
- Work independently while effectively managing your workload and diary
- Support product improvement feedback by reporting recurring issues and technical findings
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within plumbing & heating or field service engineering
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on unvented hot water systems and heating systems
- Good understanding of domestic plumbing and heating controls
- Unvented Hot Water qualification preferred (training can be provided)
- Heat pump experience beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
