Field Service / Installation Engineer

Gravity Printech India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Field Service / Installation Engineer to install, configure, and support barcode printers, scanners, labeling systems, and related hardware at client sites. This is a field-based role, ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work and travel.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure barcode printers, scanners, and labeling solutions on different types of packaging machines.

Perform basic troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance.

Diagnose hardware/software issues and coordinate with support teams when required.

Provide basic user training and handover after installation.

Maintain service reports, installation checklists, and spare/inventory records.

Ensure safe handling, packing/unpacking, and movement of equipment at sites.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Diploma / BE in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field

2–3 years experience in installation/service of printers or similar equipment

Knowledge of barcode printers, labels, ribbons, and basic networking preferred

Comfortable with travel and physical work (handling equipment)

Good communication, discipline, and problem-solving skills
