Delta Star Inc. is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead our field service operations in a defined territory. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless execution of on-site support, maintenance, and repair services while driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence. What You'll Do
As the Field Service Manager, you will oversee and coordinate a high-performing team of technicians, planners, coordinators, and project managers. You'll ensure that service operations are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your focus will be on resource planning, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and alignment with company goals.
A Day in the Life
- Lead and manage a field team including technicians, coordinators, and project managers to execute service assignments.
- Develop and maintain service schedules, prioritize projects, and allocate resources to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor field performance, track KPIs, and implement improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and service protocols, including OSHA requirements.
- Foster strong customer relationships, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive service experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as budgeting, reporting, invoicing, and change orders.

Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field service, technical project management, or a related role.
- Experience in managing teams and field operations within the utility or energy sector is highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of power transformers and substation equipment required.

- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency with computers and service management software.
- Must complete OSHA 30, OSHA 1910.269, and First Aid/CPR/AED training within 3 months of hire.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow.
Travel Requirements
- 20% travel to job sites
- Travel to Forest location as well
