Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Summary

Reporting to the Head of Global Service, this position is responsible for the financial and technical

operation of the AutoChem US field service organization. Responsibilities include developing, managing, enabling, and supporting territory team leaders as well as developing and improving service infrastructure and processes to achieve service delivery, cost, and budget objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Onboarding, training, developing, and management of territory leaders
  • Providing framework, collateral, and training for team leaders to onboard, train, develop and

manage their engineers

  • Working with Service Back Office, achieve scheduling, productivity, and efficiency targets
  • Evaluating customer satisfaction and aligning the department to achieve this goal
  • Managing the department, including finance, inventory, service planning and delivery tools and

processes, and developing the team to meet strategic objectives

  • Monitoring key metrics and reporting the outcome to the leadership team
  • Handling customer issue escalations
  • Determining department objectives and key metrics to reach financial goals
  • Assisting the Head of Global Service with special projects
  • Other duties may be assigned

What You Need to Succeed

Education, Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related technical field
  • Five (5) years of experience managing an expense budget, direct and indirect employees, and P&L
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in operational management or hands-on experience with electrical / electronic / mechanical maintenance and repair; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with service planning tools; SAP CRM preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA guidelines (including 21 CFR Part 11) is desired
  • Knowledge of ATEX requirements is desired
  • Experience with mid-infrared, thermal analysis, optics, lasers, and/or robotics-based instrumentation is a strong plus

• Exceptional customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
