Job Description:

Service Technician with high mechanical aptitude, trouble-shooting skills, and people skills to perform various repairs and service on rotating equipment and associated control systems. This position is focused on field service work.

Duties:

· Troubleshooting / diagnosing customer’s equipment - at customer locations or in house.

· Explaining problems with equipment to the customer and getting customer’s approval for repairs.

· Completing approved repairs and maintaining in-house service tickets.

· Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

· Managing all on-site repairs, maintenance, and testing, as required

· Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions

Desired Attributes:

· AC single-phase, three-phase, and DC electric aptitude

· Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Pump experience

· Aeration Blower experience

· Electrical and Control System Troubleshooting skills

· A good attitude and a willingness to learn!

Preferred Requirements

• Proven field service experience

• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical and rotating equipment

• English literacy

• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules

• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications

• Technical degree or certification or proven field experience

• As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a good driving record is needed

On-the-job training is provided; however, experience involving electrical controls, pump and valve systems, aeration systems, and plumbing are beneficial.

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package including health and dental insurance; 401(k); travel expenses, paid vacation, and recognized company holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
