Field Service Technician

Job Title: Service Advisor & TechnicianJob

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor & Technician to join our team. This dual-role position combines customer service responsibilities with hands-on technical expertise. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers while also performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services.

Key ResponsibilitiesService Advisor Duties:

  • Greet customers and assess their service needs in a professional manner
  • Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance
  • Explain technical issues and recommended services clearly to customers
  • Schedule service appointments and manage workflow
  • Communicate repair progress and timelines
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve service-related issues

Technician Duties:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles/equipment
  • Inspect systems and identify mechanical or technical problems
  • Conduct routine services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and part replacements
  • Test vehicles/equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Follow safety standards and company procedures
  • Keep tools and work area clean and organized

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Technician, or similar role
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
  • Basic computer skills for service documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹24,179.94 per month
