Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently in the field. This position requires travel that ranges from local day trips to overnight jobs in and out-of-state. RT Machine Service Pays all expenses associated with travel, including daily per diem.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, inspect, service, and repair equipment at customer locations

· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or software issues and perform repairs

· Perform routine preventative maintenance

· Document service calls, repairs, and parts used

· Communicate clearly with customers regarding service findings and solutions

· Follow safety procedures and company policies

· Travel to job sites within assigned territory

Qualifications:

· Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge

· Basic pneumatic knowledge

· Ability to work independently and maintain a clean and organized work area

· Ability to work with customers to assist with machine demonstrations

· Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation

· Must be able to take direction and instruction from senior level technicians

· Valid, unrestricted driver’s license

· High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus)

· 1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required

· Experience with woodworking machinery and welding and fabrication and CNC a plus, but not necessary.

· Strong customer service and communication skills

Pay rate based on experience and skills. Employment offers contingent on results of background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report.**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
