Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and dependable construction equipment Field Service Technician to join our team at our Cape Girardeau location. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment and related components at customer job sites throughout the region.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair construction equipment failures both in-house and at customer locations.

Perform repairs on equipment and accessories including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and diesel engines.

Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on heavy construction equipment in the field.

Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens utilizing company laptop and/or iPad.

Engages customers in a professional manner and anticipates prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.

Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics and diagrams.

Maintain thorough knowledge of, actively practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.

Prepare various reports as directed to maintain accurate records on equipment and preventive maintenance.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma, GED required. Certification or degree in Diesel Technology Program preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience servicing and maintenance of heavy construction equipment.
