Position Overview
This hybrid role combines field service, installations, and customer support. You’ll be the face of Intrex on-site—installing and maintaining our systems, building strong relationships with community staff—and also a key part of our support team when remote, assisting customers via tickets, phone, and chat.

What You’ll Do
On-Site Support & Installations
- Install and configure Rythmos hardware including sensors, gateways, and related equipment
- Mount devices, perform light cabling, and document installation details
- Test systems, troubleshoot basic connectivity issues, and ensure proper operation
- Provide friendly, professional support to community staff and residents
- Conduct routine service visits and “friendly check-ins” with customers
- Assist with inventory management, equipment prep, and logistics
Customer Support (Remote & In-Office)
- Respond to customer support tickets via phone, email, chat, and text
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Document all interactions in helpdesk systems with accuracy and detail
- Escalate complex technical issues to engineering or senior team members
- Maintain and update internal and customer-facing knowledge bases
- Monitor customer environments and proactively address issues
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service mindset—friendly, professional, and patient
- Solid technical aptitude with ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience in customer support, IT help desk, or technical service roles preferred
- Basic understanding of hardware, networking (Wi-Fi, PoE, DHCP), or IoT systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively between field and support work
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel locally/regionally for installations and service visits
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to walk large communities, stand for extended periods, and lift up to ~40 lbs
- Comfortable using ladders and working in various indoor environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $31.25 - $40.87 per hour
