Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician provides service support to include preventative and corrective maintenance of Electronic Overfill Prevention Systems, investigating and resolving customer complaints and/or technical issues, remote diagnostic and on site repair, commissioning of new equipment and to conduct training at customer locations.

Location:

This position requires regular domestic and international travel and is open anywhere in the lower 48 states to candidates with close proximity to an airport.

Responsibilities:

• Traveling to commercial and military fuel terminals worldwide
• Communicating with site personnel on the work orders and repairs needed
• Troubleshooting, repairing and testing Scully equipment
• Documenting work completed and briefing site and Scully Management
• Use of hand and power tools

Required Education and Experience

• Certificate in electronics/electrical engineering or associate's degree
• 4-6 Years of experience in a field service environment
• Ability to read and work with schematics
• Ability to conduct technical presentations and training
• Experience with fueling systems a plus
• Strong remote and on-site troubleshooting capabilities
• Familiar with various electronic testing equipment and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

• Travel 100%, including international and military sites
• Candidates must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship
• Active U.S. driver's license and clean record and the ability to obtain international driver's license.
• Current Passport
• Must be able to obtain a Government security clearance; Common Access Card (CAC)
• Working from heights (tank tops and top of tank trucks) as well as in confined spaces

Physical Demands This position requires frequent travel and is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. Lifting up to 60 pounds on regular basis.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a regular, full-time position. Hours of work may vary due to travel assignments.
