Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery and systems within manufacturing facilities.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly and accurately.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical experience, and precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Conduct hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and low voltage systems repairs with precision.
• Operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or components for maintenance or repairs.
• Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide technical sales support when needed and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven industrial mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, welding (including <LOCATION> welding if applicable), electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), schematics reading, and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, industrial electrician skills, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
• Strong analysis skills to identify issues swiftly and implement effective solutions in fast-paced settings.
• Experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a focus on safety protocols.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
• Physical capability to operate scissor lifts safely and perform manual tasks requiring physical strength.

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
