We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Aftermarket and Customer Care team. In this role, you will provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance for bakery production equipment. You will play an important role in helping customers keep their systems running efficiently, safely, and reliably.
Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial bakery equipment including ovens, dryers, cookers, and conveyors

Perform preventive maintenance and service inspections to ensure equipment reliability and uptime

Work with PLC-based electrical control systems, control panels, sensors, and automation interfaces during diagnostics and repairs

Identify and correct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and combustion system issues

Calibrate and tune control and combustion systems for performance and safety compliance

Provide remote technical support to customers as needed

Recommend and install spare parts, components, and service kits

Complete detailed service reports and maintenance documentation using Microsoft Office and company software

Collaborate with Parts, Engineering, and Customer Care teams to coordinate service delivery

Follow company and site-specific safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout
Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience

3 or more years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and combustion systems
-
Familiarity with PLC-based control systems, VFDs, relay logic, and operator interfaces

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings

Welding and fabrication skills (TIG, MIG, or stick) preferred

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills

Ability and willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications

Experience servicing Reading Bakery Systems equipment or similar industrial food production systems

Experience with combustion system tuning and calibration
-
Forklift operator certification or ability to obtain one
Work Environment

Frequent domestic and international travel; some assignments may extend over several weeks

Work in active industrial bakery environments with exposure to heat, noise, and vibration
-
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physical work such as standing, climbing, and kneeling
