Job Description: Field Service Technician DME Durable Medical Equipment Driver

Attention all package and parcel delivery drivers! Are you tired of getting in and out of your work van 200+ times per day or climbing all of those stairs when delivering to apartment complexes? If so, then this job is for you!!

Field Service Technicians are responsible for performing day to day activities in his or her area, including delivery, pickups, and troubleshooting. FSTs are also responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment in their warehouse/storage and facilities and prompt data reporting of equipment movement, Fixed Asset data, vehicle and activity information, and incoming purchase orders..

***Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician (FST) include the following:

• Monday-Friday daytime hours with occasional after hours or weekend deliveries.
• Travel within the territory as necessary.
• Free gas! Commute with the company van.
• Delivery, pick-up and service of specialty medical equipment and respiratory equipment for skilled nursing facilities in the surrounding area using company provided cell phone, vehicle, and fuel.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse.
• Follow policies and procedures as they relate to the FST position.
• Promote the company’s image, products, and services when appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• 3 years experience driving a 10’ cargo van or similar
• MVR must be free of major violations
• MVR must not have >2 minor violations
• Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
• Understanding of basic office applications, including MS Office
• Experience with mobile software
• Ability to work independently and productively without close supervision.
• Flexible schedule for on-call hours, overtime, and emergencies.
• Professional appearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and punctual.
• Able to deliver excellent customer service.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
