Job Title: Field Service Technician II, Reactive
Department: Field Services
Reports to: Manager, Reactive Service Team
Location: Orlando, Florida

Job Summary:
The Field Service Technician II- Reactive Refrigeration will provide support to the Cardinal Equipment Service Department performing essential mechanical duties and department functions. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of assignments associated with – but not limited to beverage and ice equipment installation, removal, mechanical repair, and refrigeration troubleshooting and repair. Additional responsibilities include parts and equipment accountability, resource management, customer relations, job site surveys and working closely with customers and co-workers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Beverage Fountain, Draft Beer and Ice Maker Equipment Installation, Removal, Troubleshooting and Repair including Refrigeration Service.
• Parts and Equipment Accountability
• Maintain positive customer and co-worker relationships.
• Record and account for billable time, parts and services related to work assignments.
• Position requires flexibility to work various shifts.
• Comply with all Company/DOT vehicle policies. Smith-System, Geotab, Lytx (Dashcams), etc.
• Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to troubleshoot and determine what kind of maintenance is needed
• Repair equipment using the needed tools
• Basic computer skills
• Use of basic hand tools, electric and battery drills, and saws
• Use of refrigeration related tools, torches, recovery equipment, scales and gauges
• Ability to use a lift cart and ladder

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification
• Universal Refrigeration License Preferred
• Refrigeration Service on Small Appliances or Ice Makers preferred.
• Soft drink or draught beer mechanical service preferred.
• Basic plumbing and electrical experience preferred.
• Valid Drivers’ license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and stretching.

Certification Requirements:

• EPA

• Potential of working in tight and cramped spaces
