Field Service Technician / Low Voltage / IT Hardware Installer

Cutting Edge IT, LLC is growing quickly and has immediate openings for Field Service Technicians to support ongoing low-voltage, IT infrastructure, and technology deployment projects nationwide.

If you have experience in structured cabling, point-of-sale (POS) installs, or IT hardware deployments—or if you’re eager to build your technical skills—this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values flexibility, professionalism, and fast payments.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to commercial job sites to complete installations, upgrades, and service calls
• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, routers, switches, and POS systems
• Use diagnostic tools (cable testers, ohmmeters, multimeters) to verify quality and performance
• Follow project documentation and complete required service reports
• Communicate effectively with the support team and provide outstanding customer service

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with structured cabling, low-voltage, or IT hardware installation
• Ability to work independently while following remote instructions
• Strong attention to detail, reliable work ethic, and professional communication skills
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally depending on project needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with nationwide technology rollouts, POS upgrades, or rack-and-stack deployments
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Basic knowledge of IP networking
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications/experience
