Marin Humane is seeking a Field Services Dispatcher to serve as the critical communication link between the public, Animal Services Officers, and partner agencies.

Why This Role Matters

As a Field Services Dispatcher, you'll be at the center of emergency and non-emergency animal service operations—receiving calls, prioritizing responses, coordinating field activities, and helping ensure the safety of both people and animals throughout Marin County.

You'll play a vital role in supporting officers in the field while providing compassionate, professional service to community members who may be experiencing stressful situations.


What You'll Do

  • Receive and prioritize calls for service
  • Dispatch Animal Services Officers and coordinate field responses
  • Monitor radio communications and officer safety
  • Provide real-time updates and resource coordination
  • Work closely with law enforcement, fire departments, and other public safety agencies
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate records
  • Support emergency and disaster response operations
  • Help educate the public and provide information about Marin Humane services

  • Has experience in dispatching, public safety, call centers, or other high-volume customer service environments

Position Details

Position: Field Services Dispatcher

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week, including weekends

Pay Range: $24.78–$27.52 per hour DOE

Additional Pay: $1.00/hour Spanish-speaking differential
