DEPARTMENT: Natural Cultural Resources- Environmental

JOB SUMMARY: The Field Specialist responsibilities include assisting the Field Studies Program Manager under the supervision of the Field Biologist and Field Projects Coordinator with data collection in the marine waters, estuaries, rivers, streams, and terrestrial areas of Tulalip Tribes usual and accustomed lands. To ensure better management, protection, and restoration of the Tribes treaty resources. This position is responsible for assisting with and supervising environmental field data collection including beach seining, fyke netting, electrofishing, and RTK GPS surveys. The Estuary Field Specialist will work as lead member of a crew and will lead or assist with fish sampling and monitoring; boats and scientific equipment maintenance and manage small restoration projects which includes management of sub-contractors.

COMPENSATION: $27.62 hr.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
