Our San Ramon Taproom, located in City Center Bishop Ranch, is a vibrant destination where guests gather to enjoy an ever-rotating lineup of fresh Fieldwork beer alongside Neapolitan-style pizza and shareable menu items. With a lively atmosphere and high guest volume, this location is built on energy, hospitality, and consistency.

We’re looking for hospitality-driven Fieldwork Associates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role supporting front-of-house service and food operations. Ideal candidates enjoy engaging with guests, working as part of a team, and contributing to a positive, high-energy workplace.

Serving experience is preferred, but not required
Weekend and holiday availability is required

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service, including greeting guests, taking orders, running food and beverages, and clearing tables
• Accurately input orders into the POS system and process payments
• Support food service by preparing and assembling menu items according to company standards
• Educate guests on beer styles, menu offerings, and pairing recommendations
• Maintain knowledge of current beer, food, and non-alcoholic offerings
• Follow all Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) and ABC alcohol service regulations
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Complete daily side work, prep, and cleaning tasks
• Follow all checklists and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a professional, positive demeanor with guests, coworkers, and management
• Attend trainings and meetings as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Prior experience in a bar, restaurant, brewery, or hospitality environment preferred
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a California Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Comfortable working in busy, high-volume environments
• Ability to maintain professionalism and strong guest service under pressure
